What are the Child Care, Day Labor and Tutor Lists?

Employers

Do you need help with yard work this week? Do you need child care over the weekend? Do you need a weekly tutor for your child? Our Child Care, and Day Labor and Tutor lists provide important connections between students and employers in the community. The lists provide the names, phone numbers, and pertinent information for Western students who are available for child care, day labor and tutoring. These lists conveniently give employers a chance to review a student's availability, preferred pay rate, educational interests, and transportation before deciding to call. Students who sign up for the list have the opportunity to modify their information as it changes over the quarter. Also, the list is refreshed every quarter to ensure that the information provided is current.

To obtain any of the lists you must set up an employer profile with us. This service is completely free and takes just a couple minutes to complete. Once you have an employer profile, you have two options to receive the lists. Option one: you may call the Student Employment Center and ask to receive any of the lists through email, fax, or regular mail. Option two: login to your employer profile and on the left side of the screen click "View labor lists." Then you may choose to view or email the Child Care, Day Labor and Tutor List.
